Qantas: Chinese warships causing flight communications interference

Qantas claims some flights are running into communication interference due to GPS jamming from Chinese warships.
Qantas pilots were warned there has been evidence of VHF interference in the Pacific and South China Sea.
“Qantas aircraft have experienced interference from stations purporting to represent the Chinese Military,” it said in a memo to pilots.
However, it says ‘no safety events reported relate to this activity.’
Still, it asks Qantas pilots to report any incidents.
“A report must be submitted providing details of the event or any other unusual activity.”
